    Characteristics

Tribolube-71 primary characteristic is that it uses PTFE that has not been irradiated. Non-irradiated PTFE over long term exposure has demonstrated it does not corrode aluminum or anodized aluminum. Tribolube-71 has a very wide temperature range, non-reactive with strong acids, oxygen, fuels, and solvents. It is an excellent anti-wear, extreme pressure lubricant with long life. Tribolube-71 is qualified to MIL-PRF-27617 types 1, 2, & 3.

    Applications

Tribolube-71 is intended for use in scuba applications as well in small and large diameter ball, roller, needle, and plain bearings, threads, valves, gears, and screw actuators. It is compatible with most elastomers and plastic seals, gaskets and O-rings. Although this lubricant is very inert, newly exposed rubbing surfaces of aluminum and magnesium may react with the greases under certain conditions.

    Characteristics

Tribolube-66 is intended for use in mild to high pressure systems where non-reactive with LOX and GOX is required, strong acids, oxidizers, fuels, and solvents is required. Tribolube-66 is qualified toMIL-PRF-27617,Type 1.Although this lubricant is very inert, newly exposed rubbing surfaces of aluminum and magnesium may react with the greases under certain conditions.

    Applications

This grease is suitable for scuba use as well in small and large diameter ball, roller, needle, and plain bearings, threads, valves, gears, contacts, splines, ball screws, and screw actuators and as a anti-seize thread compound. It is compatible with most elastomers and plastic seals, gaskets and O-rings.

  • EPO

Tribolube EPO2 FLUID is a low molecular weight Perfluoropolyether (PFPE) designed to be used as a passivator for the surface of brass. Tribolube EPO2 is formulated to be compatible and completely miscible with all PFPE fluids at all temperatures. In addition to being used for extended protection, Tribolube EPO2 can also act as a protectant for other materials involved in but not limited to SCUBA gear. Tribolube EPO2 is LOX/GOX compatible.

Designed to prevent galvanic corrosion between different metal contacts and help reduce fretting wear. Tribolube EPO2 is formulated to be compatible and completely miscible with all PFPE fluids and greases. The data presented below is for EPO2 prior to dispensing. Once the carrier has evaporated the resulting Tribolube EPO2 barrier film has a vapor pressure of 10-8 torr.

  • KO2

Tribolube KO2 solvent is a low molecular weight Perfluoropolyether (PFPE) designed for use as a solvent for Perfluoropolyether (PFPE) greases. Tribolube KO2 is formulated to be compatible and completely miscible with all PFPE fluids in a wide range of temperatures. In addition to being used as an excellent solvent, Tribolube KO2 can also act as a diluent in the application of more viscous PFPE fluids and greases. Tribolube KO2 is LOX/GOX compatible and safe for use in oxygen service applications.

  • tribolube_2080

    Characteristics

Tribolube 2080 is a wide temperature range, synthetic grease developed to be resistant to a wide range of chemicals, moisture resistant, electrically insulating, excellent rubber lubrication, release and sealing properties and essentially nontoxic and non-melting. Formulated for long life and for service between -70 ºF and 400 ºF.
